Wellspent is a year-round gift registry that utilizes user-populated data to generate curated gift suggestions as well as links to specific items a user wants or needs.
Problem
Gift shopping takes time, attention and money - a limited and valuable resources in modern society.
User Persona’s
Mary struggles with a limited amount of time and attention.
She is the mother of four adult children, some of whom have had children of their own! Everybody’s spread across the country, so it’s hard to keep track of what’s going on in her kid’s lives. Mary wants to give gifts that are practical yet meaningful to the ones she loves.
Her son James is equally pressed for time...
James is Mary’s son. He lives in Seattle and is focusing on advancing his career and collecting new life experiences, so he doesn’t make a lot of time to call his mother. He also isn’t a fan of impractical gifts and would rather forgo the gift exchange process if it means taking on useless clutter.
